Virði iðjuþjálfunar - fyrirlestur
Julia Scott yfirmaður hjá College of Occupational Therapists i Bretlandi er á leiðinni til landsins vegna fundar stjórna iðjuþjálfafélaganna á Norðurlöndunum og í tilefni af því mun hún halda fyrirlestur fyrir félagsmenn um virði iðjuþjálfunar.
Árið 2015 var farið af stað með verkefni sem fékk nafnið "Occupational therapy- Improving Lives, Saving Money" en markmiðið var m.a. að kynna iðjuþjálfun og iðjuþjálfa og sýna fram á vinnuframlag þeirra á fjöldamörgum stöðum.
Hún mun segja okkur frá bakgrunni verkefnisins, hvernig það gekk, hverjir voru samstarfsmenn og frá niðurstöðum verkefnisins.

Value of Occupational TherapyJulia Scott Chief Executive Officer, College of Occupational Therapists, UK will present her work and reports regarding the campaign entitled "Occupational therapy- Improving Lives, Saving Money"
The Royal College of Occupational Therapists (UK) previously identified the need to do more to promote the Value of OT following an audit of stakeholder's views in Spring 2015. As part of this program of work, they have launched a campaign entitled "Occupational therapy- Improving Lives, Saving Money". Julia will give us the background to the campaign and tell us a little bit about the rationale behind it, what it involved, how members contributed and the subsequent outcomes. She will share the process used by the RCOT to engage members and encourage them to submit data from their own services. Julia will conclude by sharing with us the RCOT's next steps for campaign related activity.
